Ashley and Nate's wedding took place on a beautiful late summer day at Gervasi Vineyard. It was a day they made authentically their own. Their ceremony was limited to family and featured a couple traditions involving their loved ones. Friends and extended relatives joined after the ceremony to join in on the celebration. It was truly a privilege to photograph their wedding day.
I'm willing to bet when Ashley went to her brothers high school football games she never thought one of their teammates would be the photographer at her future wedding.
After getting ready their day began with a first look just outside the Villa Grande
The conservatory building provided the perfect spot for an intimate ceremony space. The ceremony featured a warming of the rings tradition, in which each member of their family had an opportunity to hold the rings to warm them with their love and well wishes. Prior to Nate and Ashley lighting a unity candle, their moms lit their outer taper candles symbolizing the joining of the two families.
I was able to take the bride and groom for a drive to get some portraits around Gervasi's beautiful property before dinner and had the opportunity to sneak them outside during golden hour. The reflection coming off the lake behind the Villa Grande made for some of my all time favorite photos. A night filled with heart felt speeches, dancing, and good friends made for a perfect celebration of Ashley and Nate.
